First review of Yezdi Scrambler (Build quality and in general)
Hello people this is Ruturaj Lonkar (currently an undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering) , its been 4 days since I have got hands on my new bike (Yezdi Scrambler.) So, while inspecting the bike I came across various issues that are related to the build quality of the bike that concerns me. RPM sensor for ABS The clearance between the RPM sensor and the slotted disc is not uniform for a rotation in my bike (which means the sensor disc might not be flat or mounting issues) , so the sensor hits the disc in some part of rotation which makes a sound while riding. You can clearly see the indentation on the sensor disc in the image given below. Bolting of the rear fender The rear fender is mounted on swing arm via bolt (M8 allen head bolt) and it fastened on swing on a jam nut which is spot welded to it. As we ride the bike it under vibrations due to rotary parts and as a result of the vibrations these rear fender bolts get lose as the nuts used do not satisfy the application (...
